Dr. Gopalakrishnan Dharmarajan

Dr. Gopalakrishnan Dharmarajan is an eminent periodontist, academic leader, and Dean and Professor of Periodontology at the prestigious Manipal College of Dental Sciences, MAHE, India. After earning his BDS and MDS at Annamalai University, he completed his PhD in Periodontal Plastic Surgery at Thammasat University, Thailand, under the mentorship of the late Dr. P. D. Miller.

A past President of the Indian Society of Periodontology, Dr. Gopalakrishnan holds esteemed fellowships and leadership roles with the ,lthe ISPPS, Indian Society for Dental Research (IADR India Division) and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Honored globally for his contributions to dentistry, his accolades include a distinguished commendation from the President of the American Academy of Periodontology in 2011.
